RACINE - The city of Racine will save $2 million on its new health center project because its construction will meet provisions of the Inflation Reduction Act that are aimed at reducing the community's carbon footprint. The Racine Community Health Center will serve Racine's uninsured community and provide union jobs. It will be built in the Lincoln-King neighborhood, next to Julian Thomas Elementary School.'The city of Racine is deeply committed to meeting the goals of the Paris Climate Accord,' Mayor Cory Mason said.
